People Group Focus: Palestinian Arabs

Recently, they’ve been in the news with the pullout of troops from Gaza, and periodically they’re in the news because of conflict in their area. The Palestinian Arabs live in Gaza, West Bank, and Jerusalem—areas that are the center of political and religious conflict.

What we don’t often hear about the Palestinian plight is that 10% of the Gaza population and 40% of the West Bank population living below the poverty line. We also don't usually hear the good news that God is working among the Palestinian people! Read more…

Prayer Points for the Palestinian Arabs

 1. In the midst of crushing poverty and overcrowding ask God to make Himself known to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip because we know it is His desire that they come to repentance.

2.  What's Up? - A worker from the field says, "Our team, along with local partners, is planning to distribute calenders/planners to several thousand Palestinian students during Ramadan (4 October – 2 November). We want to bless them with a small gift and through it challenge their thinking about eternal matters. Please ask God to direct us to the right students.  Ask that their hearts be receptive. Pray that any opposition to the project might be defeated.

Will your student group commit to pray for this project through Ramadan? If so, go to www.Palestinian-Arabs.com and click "Contact Us" to let the team know you are praying or if you have additional comments or questions.

To learn more and see how the project is progressing, check the website and click  “What’s Up?" on the page.
