First-time Bible Translation in Guinea

From IMB’s CompassionNet Daily Prayer

The translation of the Bible into Pular, the Fulbe/Futa Jalon heart language, has had a few setbacks in recent months, according to IMB missionaries on the the Fulbe/Futa Jalon Team. "Illnesses, stateside assignments, and misunderstandings have slowed the progress,” a team member writes. “We are encouraged, however, because things appear to be coming together for the process to continue. Pray for health, wisdom and a spirit of cooperation in this difficult task of completing an accurate and understandable translation of God's Word." There are people in over 3000 language groups who still don't have any Scripture in their heart language, according to Wycliffe Bible Translators. Find out more about the Bibleless peoples of the world and how to pray for them at http://www.wycliffe.org/BPPP/home.htm
