Going to Scotland to Reach Japan

By Lindsay Hendryx
Texas student missionary in Scotland

On Friday night, my friend Mizuho from Japan accepted Christ. I was so moved - she is so full of the Holy Spirit. She is from Japan and had never really experienced anything dealing with Christianity, but she said that all her life, she has felt like God is watching over her and that He has a plan for her life. Praise God! I think I was even more excited than she was. I got to pray with her and then she said her own prayer in Japanese, and even though I didn't know what she was saying, it was so beautiful, it moved me to tears. She told me that the things I had expressed to her about Christ's love had made an impression on her. I said, "What? ME?" Thank God that He gives us the things to say, because I know there is no way I could do it alone.
