Persecution is Real and Immediate
From imb.org/compassionnet

In a nearby community where God has been moving and a number of people from the Digo [dee-goh] people group have been making decisions to follow Christ, one family is counting the cost. A house church was meeting and beginning to grow, but soon afterwards, the owner of the property received threats from the community. She was told that she would be forced from her home if she continued to allow fellow believers to meet there. As Digo people make decisions to follow Christ, persecution is quick to follow. Please pray that Digo believers will be encouraged in their faith and be able to stand firm. Currently

Digo people are coming to the Lord and are soon sharing testimonies of persecution. Women struggle with threats of divorce, while men and women hear complaints from the community for meeting in their homes with others to study. They suffer problems in their workplaces, or financially in their businesses. Community is very important here, and exclusion from that community is devastatin g. There is a woman from one village who has now decided not to follow Christ due to threats of divorce. Two other women in the community are not receiving teaching because they fear exclusion from the community along with the loss of home and family support. Please pray for those who are followers and those struggling to accept the Truth.
