Students Start Ministry

From IMB CompassionNet Daily Prayer

“V.” is a college student who became a believer two years ago. God has given her a heart for His Word and a heart for reaching others. Currently she is working with another girl to begin a small group at her college. They see this group as being an environment where Christians can come and grow, and where nonbelievers can come and hear about Christ. In a city where there are thousands of college students, but only a handful of believers, such a ministry is heavily needed. Praise the Lord for giving these students such a vision. Pray that they will indeed get a group started and that God will guide them as they lead and plan it. Pray that God will use this group to nurture believers, raise up and train leaders, and lead nonbelievers to faith. Pray for God to protect V and her friends from spiritual attack, and to continue to guide them as they grow in Him.
