Student Generation Almost Wiped Out

From imb.org/compassionnet

The University of Botswana is the focus of IMB missionaries in Botswana who want to reach the students at this prestigious university and also students at other campuses in the capital city of Gaborone [Ha-bah-roe-nee]. The UB campus has more than 15,000 students, though only 2 percent of high school graduates will have a place at the university. Those attending university represent the “cream of the crop.” This ministry impacts the future leaders of the Tswana people group.

Unfortunately, the rate of HIV-positive students has been reported as high as 60 percent on the campus. Therefore, this ministry is challenged to reach these future leaders before an entire generation is wiped out. Please pray for the goal of “Reaching University of Botswana for Christ.”
