Question 2: How can I participate
on an international mission project?
Answer:
(through the state Baptist Student Union/Baptist Campus
Ministry)
The BSU/BCM program in your state will offer several international
missions projects as part of their summer missions program,
many of which are connected with the IMB. Your local BSU/BCM
director will have a list of these projects as well as applications.
If you are selected for an international missions project
through your state BSU/BCM, there is often a scholarship available.
(directly through the IMB)
The Student Mobilization Team of the IMB has thousands of
international missions positions available for you. Simply
find on the Mission
Projects page the project God has for you, and complete
the
application and four
reference forms.
At least three months before the start date of your top project
choice, submit your completed online
application, all reference
forms and a copy of the identification pages of your passport
to the Student Mobilization Team at the address below.
Each piece of the application file must be in our office
before your application will be processed.

Please keep in mind that the Student Mobilization Team
assigns students to projects based on gifts, skills and experience
as well as spiritual and emotional maturity. Assignments are
made on a first-come, first-served basis as long as the above
criteria are met.
(on a team from BSU/BCM or church)
Your local BSU/BCM or church college ministry may put together
a team for an international mission assignment through the
IMB. To participate on this team, ask your local BSU/BCM director
or college minister about the application process.
