PRAYING FOR THE UNREACHED (UPGs)
Shan of the Pacific
A young Shan woman is a rock star and Bible professor. She has a heart to reach her own people. She is now pursuing the possibility of going abroad in order to study counseling. She would like to bring her knowledge back to help the Shan communities while sharing the Truth with them. She has been studying English and is looking at different schools. She will begin applying to the schools as well as applying for scholarships and financial aid. Please pray that God will show her the next steps that He wants her to take and that He will provide for her every need as she is obedient to Him.
PRAYING FOR THE FORGOTTEN (UUPGs)
Deaf of India
The second-largest Deaf population in the world lives in India (more than 6 million). Several megacities like Mumbai, Delhi and Calcutta have huge Deaf communities but little access to the stories about God and the freedom offered through His Son. The Deaf in India are not well connected. Pray for workers to meet physical and emotional needs and share His Light with many Deaf who live in poverty, despair and hopelessness.
Ask God to fill new and old believers alike with the knowledge of His will so that they may live a life worthy of Him and may please Him in every way (1:10). Pray for our Bangkok Team to be bold in sharing the Gospel broadly and discipling new believers so that new churches can be started that will multiply. Pray that we will have open doors to train existing Thai believers, leaders and churches in how to multiply disciples and churches through their network of relationships. Pray that those who receive Christ will continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith, and overflowing with thankfulness (2:6-7). Pray that believers here will set their hearts and minds on things above (3:1). Pray that the word of Christ will dwell in believers richly (3:16). Pray that God will continue to open doors for the message, so that the mystery of Christ will be proclaimed (4:3). Pray that churches--old and new--will stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured (4:12). All this for the glory of God!”

PRAY FOR FORGOTTEN PEOPLE
Unengaged people groups have no known Christians, local or foreign, working among them with an intentional plan of sharing the Gospel and planting churches. Pray for prayer supporters to adopt these people group and intercede for them. Ask God to call out workers to enter these potential harvest fields. Pray especially today for the unengaged people group listed below.
Itza of Belize
Today 1200 year old Maya customs still survive in hidden groups such as the Itza of Belize. With a population of 19,314, their primary language is Itzá. However, the younger generation is taught only Spanish in school, and it is difficult to spark interest among the Itza youth to retain their language and culture. There is no active ministry among these people. Pray for open hearts and workers in this harvest field.
