Eastern Europe
Romania Bucharest---June 13-21
Romania Cluj---June 27-July 5
Slovakia Jelsava---July 11-19
Romania Constanta---July 11-19
Long after it has emerged from Soviet-era domination, much of Eastern Europe still remains marginalized. Evangelical work initially surged, but peoples like the Roma (Gypsies) a despised minority, are often unemployed and live in crowded run-down, apartment buildings or in rustic villages. Much remains in the work also to reach nationals in cities like Bucharest. IWC participants will conduct ministry that will include sports, games, drama, music, worship services, and Bible studies to reach and disciple children and teens.

South America
Argentina Villa Maria---June 13-22
Brazil Porto Alegre--June 13-21
(World Cup!)
Ecuador Quito 1---June 20-27
Ecuador Quito 2---June 28-July 5
Chile Santiago (TBA)
In South America, the church is growing but the needs in urban centers are overwhelming. Many young people have only a superficial awareness of true Christianity or have been "innoculated" with a syncretism that blends superstition, tradition, and Christian elements. IWC participants will work alongside local believers to witness, disciple, and minister to various age groups thru sports, music, Bible studies, drama, rallies, and more.

Asia/Southeast Asia
East Asia 1†---July 16-29
East Asia 2†---July 17-30
Thailand†----July 18-26
Malaysia†----July 19-30
East Asians are eager to learn English from native speakers. Many also enjoy sharing their culture and are ready to make new friends. Such opportunities make it possible to share Christ in very personal ways. IWC projects will feature ministry in schools and recreation settings. The East Asia 2 project involves an immersion experience in a summer camp setting.

South Africa
SA Johannesburg---June 27-July 7
The race is on to see who or what will claim Africa's young: AIDS, gangs, false religion, or Christ. IWC participants will team up with national believers to meet needs in townships where poverty, unemployment, and hopelessness take a huge toll. South Africa is still emerging from the throes of apartheid, but real hope for racial reconciliation is being found in the Gospel of Christ.

Western Europe
Italy Bologna---June 13-21
Portugal Portimao---July 5-12
Spain Barcelona---July 4-12
History, languages, architecture, diversity... Europe is full of cultural richness, but also lostness. For most, the Christian heritage is in name only. Meanwhile, the vast wave of immigration is bringing a cultural diversity that does not know anything of the gospel of Christ. Embrace the challenge of sharing the timeless truth of the Gospel to new generations in these nations.

Partnerships
Adopt a DIY project!
In 2013, ten organizational partners have adopted specific student project requests from our field personnel. Could this be an approach for your church, association, or campus ministry in 2014? IWC offers support for partners who want to "do it yourself."Talk to us about doing your own IWC-supported student project with IMB field personnel.
